Movie
Update: September 21, 2000
On Wednesday, the 16th of August, a special encore presentation
of Jin Kato Mu was screened in a larger auditorium, again
packed to the rafters. We were more confident about the film
now that a very favorable
review had been written by local movie critic Chuck
Belcher. Unfortunately, this screening was marred by sound
problems resulting in an almost complete loss of the soundtrack.
For myself (Drew Thomas), this was devastating, and I think
many would agree with me that the aural comedy suffered greatly
as a result. Although not quite the exhilarating success that
the Friday showing was, the audience still had a good time,
and we were able to go off to school armed with the pride of
a job well done.
Currently, the video of Jin Kato Mu is still in the works.
We expect that distribution will begin as early as next week.
The video will be cleaned of all video and sound flaws inherent
from our rushed production and will have the original trailer
